MM Keeravani’s son, Sri Simha Koduri is back with yet another film titled Bhaag Saale. The film has hit the screens today and read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not

Plot

Bhaag Saale revolves around Arjun(Simha Koduri), who loves Maya(Neha Solanki) but hides his true identity as a chef in a hotel and poses as a wealthy person. Meanwhile, Samuel, a gangster, is after a diamond that holds significance in his pursuit of love with Nalini. The lives of these characters become intertwined due to the diamond, and the story explores what happens to Arjun and Maya’s love story when Maya discovers the truth. The film culminates in resolving the chaos surrounding the diamond.

Performances

Simha Koduri plays the lead role of Arjun but fails to make a strong impression. His performance lacks spontaneity and fails to stand out among the other characters. Neha Solanki, who portrays Maya, suits the role well but also struggles to leave a lasting impact. Comedian Satya is very good in his small role. Viva Harsha does well as the sidekick to the main villain.

What’s Good

What’s Bad

Analysis

Directed by Praneeth Brahmandapally, “Bhaag Saale” is a crime comedy with elements of romantic drama. However, the film suffers from predictability and lacks freshness or surprises. The entertainment feels forced, and the attempt to be an adult crime comedy falls short. The screenplay and writing fail to engage the audience, and the film feels rushed and lacks logical progression.

The supporting cast includes known faces, but their roles are underdeveloped and fail to leave a strong impression. The music by Kaala Bhairava is mostly forgettable, and the technical aspects of the film, including cinematography and editing, lack the required slickness and sharpness. The performances and technical aspects also fall short of expectations. The narrative appears chaotic, and the overall execution is weak, making “Bhaag Saale” forgettable.

There was so much scope for the makers to evoke comedy but they missed out on it. In summary, “Bhaag Saale” is a quirky crime comedy that doesn’t live up to its potential. It suffers from weak content, a rushed narrative, and predictability, making it a forgettable experience.

Bottom Line- Bland and boring comedy

2/5
