People in the film industry are currently dealing with legal troubles, and veteran actress Jaya Prada, as well as actor-producer Bandla Ganesh, have recently faced setbacks in the courts. Jaya Prada encountered a difficult situation when the court issued an arrest order for her non-compliance with multiple warrants.
Now, the focus has shifted to Bandla Ganesh, who is entangled in a cheque bounce case in Ongole Court. The court ruled in favor of Venkateswarlu, who initiated the case after a cheque issued by Bandla Ganesh bounced. In 2019, the actor-producer borrowed Rs 95 lakhs and gave the cheque in return. In response, the Ongole Court not only directed Bandla Ganesh to repay the amount with court charges but also sentenced him to one year in prison and imposed a fine of Rs 95.10 lakhs.
This isn’t the first time Bandla Ganesh has faced legal issues. In 2017, the 14th Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Erramanzil sentenced him to a six-month jail term and a fine of Rs 15.86 lakhs. However, he was later granted conditional bail.
Despite these setbacks, Bandla Ganesh has the option to appeal the recent court orders in higher courts.
