Balakrishna indirectly claims Jr NTR is not Nandamuri successor; Here’s what he said

Jr NTR is once again making waves at the box office with his latest movie Devara. Initially, the film received average feedback after its first show. However, soon after, the movie began to receive positive talk, and it is now booming at the box office. Fans of the Nandamuri family are delighted by the movie’s success.

However, some comments made by Balakrishna at the IIFA Awards 2024 have caused a bit of discomfort for these fans. In the Nandamuri family, after Senior NTR and Balakrishna it was Jr NTR who gained most of the fame. Unlike other star heroes’ sons, Jr NTR did not get much help in the film industry. He has earned his stardom through hard work and talent. Despite this, rumors have surfaced on social media about a growing distance between Balakrishna and Jr NTR.

Balakrishna’s comments at the IIFA Awards added fuel to the speculation. While attending the event in Dubai, Balakrishna spoke with media and stated that his successors are only his son and grandson. When asked about the next successor in the Nandamuri family, Balakrishna did not mention Jr NTR at all. He simply said, “My son, my grandson, who else is there?” This statement disappointed many fans, especially since Jr NTR is widely recognized as the next big name after Senior NTR and Balakrishna in the Telugu film industry.

The omission of Jr NTR’s name has upset Nandamuri fans and general moviegoers alike. Unlike other stars, Jr NTR doesn’t rely on background and promotions to manage his image, and many believe that his success is entirely due to his own efforts, much like his grandfather, Senior NTR.
