The insider-outsider debate and existence of camps in Bollywood has now veered towards awards. Many actors have lost out to star kids despite winsome performances. This favouritism is not only demotivating, it has established a lobby culture in Bollywood and only those from certain families bag awards while the rest bag awards for being supporting actors. There are others who get awards but lose out to others if they don’t arrive at the venue on time to pick it up.
