Vishwak Sen’s Paagal has finished the first weekend with remarkable collections. The movie has grossed a whopping 6.6 Crore in the first weekend of its release (Saturday and Sunday run), the team has announced at the Success meet on Monday.
“Even though we announced the release date at a short notice, I am worried about the lack of time for promotions. For the first time, I was seeking help from someone from inside. I could not sleep all week and do not even have time to check if someone really helped. Then, there are some people pulling me and the film down even before the first show is completed. There are many problems like 50% occupancy, No Second shows, and Low Ticket Prices. But overcoming all that, the audience stood behind me and made the film a big hit.
The movie has collected 6.5 Crore gross across the globe. The opening is 40% more than HIT. Many people were waiting for me to change my name so that they can pull me down. But sir, the audience is behind me. No one can stop me. This is just beginning. Families are enjoying in multiplexes and single screens are shaking. I thank the media for promoting me.
