Jabalpur beauty Shalini Pandey forayed into films with the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. Though the film gave stardom to both Vijay Deverakonda and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. it didn’t really help Shalini to grab big offers. She was seen in cameos in a couple of films like Mahanati and NTR: Kathanayakudu.
Later, she was seen as 118 and Tamil film Gorilla but none of them gave a fly off to her career. Despite all these odds, Shalini managed to grab a big offer in Bollywood. Reportedly, she has signed a three-film deal with popular Hindi production house Yash Raj Films.
As a part of this deal, she will be acting as the female lead opposite superstar Ranveer Singh in the film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The movie is being directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar and will go on floors this October. It will hit the screens mostly towards the end of 2020.
