AR Rahman’s huge pay for Ram Charan’s RC16
Music legend AR Rahman is set to compose music for Ram Charan’s upcoming sports drama, RC16. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, will feature Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Reports suggest that Rahman is being paid around ₹8 crore for this project, though no official confirmation has been made.
RC16 is expected to be a grand film focusing on the popular sport of cricket. The Director of Photography previously shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse, revealing how massive floodlights were used to recreate daylight for intense cricket scenes.
Apart from Janhvi Kapoor, Bollywood actor Divyendu Sharma will also be seen in a key role. Ram Charan has undergone intense training to achieve a strong and athletic look for his character, promising fans a never-seen-before avatar.
Recently, Ram Charan wished director Buchi Babu Sana a happy birthday on social media sharing a picture of them together and expressing his best wishes.
Following RC16, Ram Charan will team up with director Sukumar for another major project tentatively titled RC17.
While the reported salary figures for AR Rahman are not officially confirmed, his involvement in RC16 has already created excitement among fans. The film is expected to deliver a thrilling sports drama experience with powerful performances and a strong musical score.
