AR Rahman walks out of RC16?

Recent reports have sparked discussions about the music composition for the upcoming Telugu film tentatively titled RC16 starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Initially, the Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman was announced as the music director for this project. In fact, as of March 2024, Rahman had reportedly completed composing three songs for the film, indicating significant progress in the music department.

However, in December 2024, rumors began circulating about Rahman taking a one-year hiatus from composing music due to personal reasons, including speculations about his personal life. These rumors led to questions about his involvement in RC16.

Despite the clarification, discussions emerged about the possibility of Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) replacing Rahman as the music director for RC16. DSP had previously collaborated with director Buchi Babu Sana on the successful film Uppena, making him a potential candidate for the role.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding any changes in the music director for RC16. The production team has not released any statements addressing these rumors, and A.R. Rahman remains credited as the composer for the film. Fans are eagerly awaiting official updates to clarify the situation.
