AP student found dead in hostel room at NIT Patna
A tragic incident occurred at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Patna, where a young woman from Andhra Pradesh was found dead in her hostel room. The second-year engineering student was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan, leading to a wave of shock and sorrow throughout the institution.
The incident took place at the NIT campus, located in Bihta on the outskirts of Patna. Upon receiving a distress call around 10:15 pm, police officials immediately arrived at the scene and moved the student’s body to a nearby hospital. However, she was declared dead upon arrival.

A suicide note was found near the girl, but the exact reasons behind her decision remain unclear as investigations are still ongoing. The police have sent her body for postmortem examination to determine the official cause of death.
