Another two flops on the way for THIS heroine
Pooja Hegde who was once a part of blockbuster films is currently going through a rough phase in her career. Her recent movies—Cirkus, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Deva—failed to impress audiences and struggled at the box office. Despite working with top stars like Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh, her films did not perform well.
Pooja Hegde’s last three films did not meet expectations. Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus was a major disappointment, receiving negative reviews. Similarly, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan with Salman Khan also failed to draw audiences. Her latest release, Deva, which was expected to do well, could not make a strong impact due to its predictable storyline.
Looking ahead, Pooja has two films lined up—Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan and Sanki with Ahan Shetty. While these projects may help her career, they also come with risks. David Dhawan, who is directing Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, is known for his outdated style of comedy, which might not connect well with today’s audience. Similarly, Ahan Shetty’s last film, Tadap, did not perform well, raising concerns about Sanki’s box office potential.
Despite the setbacks, Pooja Hegde still has a chance to revive her career. Many actors have gone through difficult phases before making strong comebacks. If she picks the right scripts and delivers strong performances, she could regain her star status. Only time will tell if her upcoming films will bring her back into the limelight.
