With elections fast approaching the YSRCP is taking one hit after the other. Many leaders are leaving the party unable to put up with the high-handed and domineering attitude of YS Jagan.
Most of them are finding their way to the ruling TDP. The latest to join the list is Chintalapudi former MLA Ghanta Murali. Murali, who has been keeping aloof from the YSRCP activities for quite some time is now preparing to join the TDP.
Ghanta Murali began as a Congress leader and had won as an MLA in 2004. Post-the bifurcation of the state, he has joined the YSRCP. Though he had worked very hard for the party, Jagan did not take congnisance of it. Realising that Jagan might not give him party ticket, he maintained a low profile.
Of late, there is a buzz that he would join the TDP. He reportedly was impressed by the Polavaram works and has decided to join the party. He had also met Eluru MP and TDP leader Maganti Babu. Now he is all set to join the TDP. Seniors like Ghanta and Vangaveeti leaving the YSRCP is a big shock to the party at this juncture.
