Anil Sunkara made Agent with Akhil on a massive note. But sadly, the film ended up in massive losses. For the first time after the debacle, Anil Sunkara has spoken about Agent’s failure.
He says “I and the director wanted to give a good film for Akhil. We felt regardless of the result, the film will showcase Akhil in a good way. We believed the Akhil-Mammootty sequences will work out but that didn’t happen”.
Adding further, he says “The film’s failure taught me a big lesson. Going with a bound script will mean there’s a 10% chance of deviation in the box office verdict. But without a bound script, the scope for error goes up massively and that’s a huge risk.”
Anil and his weak planning have been exposed and the director is being trolled for putting so much money on Akhil who does not even have a market of such kind. Surender Reddy is nowhere to be seen after the film’s release.
