Anil Ravipudi wants to be this heroine if reborn
Popular Tollywood director Anil Ravipudi, known for his entertaining films, has once again made headlines. Recently, he attended the pre-release event of the movie Laila, starring Vishwak Sen. During the event, anchor Suma asked Anil a fun question: “If you were to be reborn as a woman, which actress would you want to be?” His response has now gone viral on social media.
Anil humorously answered that if he were born in the past generation, he would want to be like the legendary actress Sridevi. For the present generation, he chose Tamannaah. His answer received loud cheers and applause from the audience, showing his admiration for both actresses.
Anil Ravipudi made his directorial debut with Pataas and quickly rose to fame. He has worked with some of the biggest stars in Tollywood, delivering back-to-back hits. His films are known for their mix of comedy and family entertainment, making them popular among audiences.
Recently, he directed Sankranthi Vachhaam, starring Victory Venkatesh. The film, a mix of crime thriller and romantic comedy, became a blockbuster, collecting over ₹300 crore at the box office. It brought great profits to producers, distributors, and exhibitors.
Following the success of Sankranthi Vachhaam, Anil is set to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi on a comedy entertainer. This project will be produced under the Shine Screens banner by Sahu Garapati. The script work for the film is expected to begin soon.
Meanwhile, Laila, starring Vishwak Sen in dual roles, is set to release on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. With Chiranjeevi attending the pre-release event as the chief guest and Anil also present, the event generated significant buzz.
