YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is gearing up to launch his election campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections with a dynamic bus yatra under the banner ‘Memu Antha Siddham.’ This move marks the beginning of an intensive outreach effort by the party to connect with voters across Andhra Pradesh.
The party leadership, led by MLC Talasila Raghuram, announced that a detailed schedule for the bus yatra would be unveiled on Tuesday. Raghuram highlighted the comprehensive nature of the campaign, emphasizing that meetings will be organized in all regions, with specific plans formulated for each district.
“The district-wise bus yatra will commence in a week, tentatively starting from March 26 or 27, spanning from Ichchapuram to Idupulapaya and spanning a duration of 21 days,” Raghuram stated. He further revealed that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy himself would actively participate in the ground-level campaign, signaling the party’s commitment to engaging directly with the electorate.
Notably, the bus yatra will encompass all districts except for Visakhapatnam, Eluru, Anantapur, and Palnadu, where preparatory meetings under the ‘Siddham’ initiative have already taken place. The itinerary includes morning interaction sessions aimed at soliciting feedback and suggestions from the public and intellectuals to enhance the government’s performance. These sessions will be followed by public meetings in the afternoon, facilitating direct engagement between party leaders and the electorate.
With the commencement of the bus yatra, the YSRCP aims to consolidate its support base and mobilize grassroots support ahead of the crucial Andhra Pradesh elections 2024. The campaign underscores the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and its resolve to address the aspirations and concerns of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
