Anasuya Bharadwaj, popular anchor and actress, has won big at the recently concluded 66th Filmfare Awards. The actress won “Best Supporting Actress” for Rangasthalma for her relatable character Rangammaathha. On the work front, she will be next seen in Krishna Vamsi’s film. Reportedly, the director was impressed with Anausya’s performance in Rangasthalam and felt that she would be apt for his film which is a family drama. Though her role is kept under wraps, but it is said to have a pivotal role. Speaking about why Anausya accepted a source informs, “One of the reasons Anasuya picked up the role was because it was offered by one of her favourite directors Krishna Vamsi. Moreover, it is an impactful role and very crucial when it comes to driving the narrative”.
