Anusuya Bharadwaj needs no introduction. Popular anchor and actress is a household name in the Telugu states. While she is go-to anchor on the television screen, her professional achievement was a no mean feat. She had her own share of hardships. On the other side, her personal life also had up and downs. She is married to Susank Bharadwaj and has two little munchkins. Anusuya has now opened up the struggle she went through for the sake of her love.
Anasuya’s first meeting with her husband
Recalling their first meeting, Anasuya reveals that it was during her Intermediate where she went for an NCC camp she met her future husband, Susank. She added that it was love at first sight for Susank, but not for her. Though he expressed his feelings for her, she didn’t reciprocate. She goes on to add that it was again during the second meeting at NCC camp their friendship blossomed and later in few years developed into mutual liking and love.
Anasuya left home!
Speaking about hardships, she said that she has two younger sisters. Her family wanted her to settle down so that it things will be easy for her sisters as well. But she confided her relationship to her father where the latter became angry,.SUbsuqyntly she left the house and stayed in a hostel for a few months. Though she came back home, her father never approved of her relationship though her mother was supportive. Anasuya revealed that talks between herself and her father didn’t take place. Anasuya only got married after her parents approved of her relationship, for which she had waited for nine-long years from the time Susank proposed to her.
Finally, Anasuya got married to Susank on February 10, 2010 after both the families approved. Very soon the couple will be celebrating their 10-years of togetherness.
