Anasuya Bharadwaj is fed up so much that it prompted her to reach the Hyderabad police. She lodged a complaint over social media harassment. And the word “aunty” has annoyed her so much. But, is the word aunty so derogatory? In what sense?
To this, senior actress Kasturi responded saying whatever happened to Anasuya is unfair. “She said kids calling a woman aunty is different from the adults calling a woman aunty. It looks inappropriate. She said there are so many senior actors in the Telugu film industry but no one would call them “uncles”. So fans or audiences who call Anasuya aunty are certainly not out of respect.
