Glam girl Anasuya Bharadwaj tasted success on the small screen and also in films like Kshanam and Rangasthalam. The Jabardasth anchor who acted in character roles has the first time carried the film on her shoulder with her recent release – Kathanam. As the female lead for the first time, the movie was led through her shoulder. But the film bombed badly the box-office.
With Kathanam’s bad opening, Anasuya Bharadwaj is giving jitters to the other directors who have signed her as the female lead. Understabaldy, Kathanam makers are also disappointed with Anasuya as her popularity failed to get the footfalls to the theatres. Following this, the blame game has started between the Kathanam team and Anasuya. A source says, “The actress charged high remuneration for this film and the makers expected some good openings, but they are disappointed to see the film’s fate”.
