Recent tensions within the Mega family have been a hot topic, especially regarding Allu Arjun and his relationship with Chiranjeevi’s family. During the AP elections, the discord began when Allu Arjun campaigned for a YCP candidate, Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore. This move was heavily criticized by Pawan Kalyan fans and Janasena supporters, leading to a significant online backlash against Allu Arjun.

Adding fuel to the fire, Pawan Kalyan recently made remarks about the changing image of heroes in films. Speaking at a Bengaluru event, he criticized modern film heroes for portraying negative roles like smuggling, contrasting it with past heroes who protected nature. Many interpreted this as a veiled criticism of Allu Arjun’s role as a red Sanders smuggler in the film Pushpa.

In response to these comments, Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, Kancharla Chandrashekhar Reddy, has called for Pawan Kalyan to retract his statements. Reddy suggested that Pawan should clarify whether his remarks were meant to target Allu Arjun. He emphasized that if Pawan intended to criticize Allu Arjun, he was also indirectly criticizing the Indian government, which honored Allu Arjun with a National Award for his performance in Pushpa.

Furthermore, Naga Babu’s comments during the elections, suggesting that supporters of rival parties are not allies, were also seen as a possible dig at Allu Arjun. Chandrashekhar Reddy implied that such remarks might be driven by frustration.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is gearing up for the release of his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. This upcoming action-drama is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise.
