The Kerala police arrested a 22-year-old Niyassudhien, who had sent rape threats and threatening to kill a woman film critic after she posted a negative review about Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya film.

The victim is Aparna Prasanthi (26), a Malappuram-based film critic, who took to Facebook about the accused arrest. “When he verbally abused me online, he had Allu Arjun’s face. Behind a fake ID, he abused me and the people who supported me. He did all that, sitting not far away from where I live. Today, he has a face,” she posted.
The police officials said that they are tracking down to nab other offenders and will be arresting them soon. The incident of online abuse to film critics created a furore calling for debates on television channels over the rights scribes being refrained.
