Ace producer Allu Aravind ventured into OTT platform with the launch of his digital streaming app – Aha. The OTT platform was presumed to give digital titans, Amazon and Netflix, a tough competition. However, the plans have all been a dampener so far. Few web series and films like Run were out and pulled a decent subscribers for the platform, but it didn’t catch up as expected.
To fill the gap, Allu Aravind has roped in established directors to give a face-lift for Aha. Names of filmmakers Nandini Reddy, Sankalp, Surender Reddy, Krish have already been doing the rounds of joining Aha, now another successful director name is doing the rounds. Well, he is none other than Anil Ravipudi, who has track record of delivering blockbuster films in his career till date. However, the director has his hand full with F3 in the script staring process and another one for Balakrishna. So it is to be seen if comes on board for Aha or not.
