Allari Naresh often seen in comedy films and known for his humorous avatar stunned with his somberness in Vamshi Paidipally’s Maharshi. In his next, he is starring in debutant Vijay Kanakamedala’s Naandhi. The first look and the teaser which came out on his birthday left many intrigued and wanting to know more about the film. In fact, the still of Alla Naresh where he bared it all left many with surprise. Spilling beans on his role he says that Vijay Kanakamedala was hesitant while narrating the nude shot, adding he suggested to opt for boxers but since the script needed he went nude for the role. He also stresses that his role would leave many by surprise.
Speaking about her character further, Allari Naresh says, “I play the role of an innocent person who is framed for a cold-blooded crime. The film will showcase how my character gets tortured in prison and how he finds a way out of it. It’s going to be raw and impactful.” The film also stars Kollywood actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar where she is seen as a lawyer. Elaborating on her role, she said that the role has challenged her as an actor. She is someone who usually doesn’t prepare but for Naandhi it was going back to school. Throwing light on the difficulty, she said that although she is well versed in Telugu, but there were lengthy lines which were extended to six pages, hence she had to prepare in advance.
