All We Imagine As Light:
Payal Kapadia’s critically acclaimed movie All We Imagine As Light, which won the Cannes Grand Prix in 2024, is now ready for its OTT debut. After a limited theatrical release in Kerala on September 21, 2024, the film will be available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from January 3, 2025.
The film tells the story of two Malayali nurses, Prabha and Anu, living in Mumbai. Prabha, a reserved individual, is separated from her husband, who has moved to Germany. In contrast, Anu is outgoing and involved in a secret relationship. Both nurses help Parvaty, a cook, fight against developers attempting to demolish her chawl. The plot deepens when Parvaty relocates to her village, and Prabha and Anu assist her. Their journey to the village leads them to confront personal truths and uncover new dimensions of their lives.

Kani Kusruti and Divya Prabha play the lead roles, supported by a talented cast including Chhaya Kadam, Hridhu Haroon, and Anand Sami. The film has received widespread praise for its compelling narrative and strong performances.
