Akhil steps in for the film turned down by Venkatesh
Nandu who gained recognition as a writer with the song “Samajavaragamana”, has been making efforts to establish himself as a director. Recently, he approached actor Venkatesh with a story. Impressed by the concept, Venkatesh initially agreed to the project.
However, after the massive success of “Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam”, Venkatesh found himself in a dilemma. With the film becoming a blockbuster, he wanted to maintain the momentum with another big hit. To achieve this, he decided to collaborate with an established director.
Reports suggest that Venkatesh asked Nandu if he would consider proceeding with a different director. However, Nandu was unwilling to compromise and declined the offer. Consequently, the project was put on hold.
Now, the latest buzz is that Nandu has approached Akhil Akkineni with a fresh story. Unlike the one narrated to Venkatesh, this is an entirely different concept. Akhil has reportedly shown keen interest in the project, adding fuel to speculation about their collaboration.
Currently, Akhil is busy with his upcoming film “Lenin”, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, known for his work on “Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha.” The shoot is progressing at a steady pace. Once Akhil completes this film, the possibility of him teaming up with Nandu seems high.
The movie is expected to be produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi. Meanwhile, Nandu is said to be working on fine-tuning the script to ensure it meets expectations. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement regarding this exciting project.
While Nandu’s directorial debut faced a setback with Venkatesh, the prospect of collaborating with Akhil offers him a fresh opportunity. If all goes well, the film could mark a significant breakthrough for the aspiring director.
