Recently, there was a significant rumor circulating on social media and suggested that Geetha Arts is set to produce a film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, and this film would be none other than Akhanda 2, the sequel to the highly successful blockbuster Akhanda. This revelation sparked extensive discussions in Film Nagar, especially regarding the true producer of “Akhanda 2.”
Indeed, Akhanda was brought to life by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the Dwaraka Creations banner. If there are plans for a sequel, it only makes sense for the same producer to be involved, whether it’s Balayya or Boyapati moving forward with the project.If there’s a possibility of someone else joining the production of Akhanda 2, it would likely be in partnership with Ravinder Reddy. Contrary to rumors, it has been clarified that 14 Reels banner is not set to produce Akhanda 2. Instead, 14 Reels and Boyapati have plans for a political backdrop-laced movie featuring Balayya, separate from the Akhanda sequel.
Overall, it seems that Akhanda 2 may not be in the works anytime soon. Balayya is occupied with a couple of other films, and Boyapati is engrossed in activities with Geetha Arts. Until an official announcement is made, Miryala Ravinder Reddy remains the confirmed producer for this project.
