Ajith Kumar to reunite with star actress after 25 years
Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, is one of the most awaited movies of 2025. Excitement is building as reports suggest that actress Simran may make a special appearance in the film, marking their on-screen reunion after 25 years.
Ajith and Simran previously worked together in hit Tamil films like Aval Varuvala (1998), Vaalee (1999), and Unnai Kodu Ennai Tharuven (2000). Their chemistry was well-received by audiences, making the possibility of their reunion in Good Bad Ugly highly exciting for fans.
Simran is a well-known actress who has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam films. She made her debut in 1997 and was actively involved in the industry until 2008. After a break, she returned in 2014 and later appeared in films like Petta (2019), Rocketry (2022) and Gulmohar (2023). She is married to producer Deepak Bagga.
Good Bad Ugly is set to release in theaters on April 10, 2025. Netflix has already acquired the film’s digital rights, and it will be available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi after its theatrical run. Netflix announced the news on social media, asking fans to choose between the “Good, the Bad, or the Ugly.”
Adhik Ravichandran directs the film, co-writing it with Ravi Kandasamy and Harish Manikandan. The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan play the lead roles, with Abinandhan Ramanujam handling cinematography and Vijay Velukutty as the editor. Music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
