Even as the nation is mourning Disha gang rape and calling for encounters similar to what happen in Hyderabad, another minor girl was gang-raped at Mullapudi near Tirupati.
According to the Police, the girl asked the accused for lift on his bike until Tiruchanur. Instead of stopping the two-wheeler at Tiruchanur, the accused took the girl to Mullapudi Gate and told her that the vehicle stopped due to lack of sufficient petrol. The accused made a phone call to his friend and the duo sexually molested her. Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, Cops had registered a case and arrested both the accused. One of the two accused had faced criminal charges in the past as well
