Adivi Sesh is going great guns. The actor who earlier in the day took to Twitter stating today is a big day has finally broken the suspense. Sesh’s next titled Major is based on the life of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who saved many lives during the 26/11 terror attack at Taj hotel in Mumbai. The film is bankrolled by Superstar Mahesh bau under his production house GMB. Elated Sesh wrote, Told you I had MAJOR news! 6 reasons why #MajorTheFilm is my dream project! – Based on the Life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, A Real life Hero of 26/11 – SUPERSTAR @urstrulyMahesh producing my film! Interestingly, Sesh would be making his Bollywood debut with this film, Of course, it won’t be his straight Bollywood but as the film will be simultaneously released in Telugu and Hindi. The film will be directed by Goodachari director Sashi Kiran Tikka. Namrata Mahesh, MD of GMB, said, “Mahesh and I have envisioned to bring stories that resonate globally. We are excited to tell an unique story and original one about a national hero’s life.”
Apart from Mahesh production house MGB, it will be co-produced by Adivi Entertainment and Sharath Chandra and Anurag Reddy’s ‘A+S Movies’ banner. The film would apparently go on floors from this summer and would be hitting the screens in 2020.
