Tollywood actresses are taking rather an untrodden route to success. As the famous phrase goes – Belief can move mountains – divas of South film industries are invoking Gods through various rituals to achieve stardom, success and money.
‘Pushpa’ actress Rashmika Mandanna and actress Nidhhi Agerwal have performed Raja Shyamala yagam by spending so much money. It is learnt that Rashmika hired 20 priests from Hyderabad and ferried them to her hometown in Karnataka to perform this special ritual.
Nidhhi Agerwal too had taken priests from Hyderabad to her home in Mumbai to perform this ‘havan’.
So far, we have seen Samantha Ruth Prabhu and actress Nayanthara touring some holy places up north with their best buddies. Fans have seen Samantha chanting ‘japa’ to quickly recover from her illness.
Meanwhile, the grapevine has it that Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde too are likely to perform this ‘yagam’ at their homes. Recently, Pooja Hegde performed a ritual at Peddammathalli Temple here in Hyderabad.
But the question that begs finally is — Will this Hindu ritual change one’s fortune? But what Hindu priests say is a different story. According to ‘Tantra Sastra’, Raja Shyamala yagam is called ‘Dasa Maha Vidya’. It is believed that by performing the ritual, one could grow politically strong, attain Kingdom and achieve new heights of fame. But it is not true that a person could win things every time he performs such ‘yagam’. It depends on how strong one’s zodiac sign is..
It is also believed that TRS (now Bharat Rashtra Samithi), especially the party’s Supremo and CM K. Chandrashekar Rao, is in a strong position in the State because of constantly performing this ‘yagam’.
