Kannada star and former MP Divya Spandana also known as Ramya recently shared her thoughts on Instagram about the arrest of actor Darshan. Reflecting on her own experience with online trolls and the abusive comments she has faced she talked about the importance of handling such situations legally.

In her Instagram story, Divya stated, “No one is above the law. No one should take the law into their own hands. You don’t go around beating up people and killing them. A simple complaint would suffice.”

Talking about her personal experience she shared that she has often withdrawn complaints against such trolls showing compassion and understanding towards their situations. She explained that she considered their young age and chose to let them off with a warning.

In her concluding remarks, Divya expressed gratitude to the Bengaluru police and hoped their actions would restore public faith in law enforcement.

The recent controversy involving Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda revolves around murder charges. Reports indicate that Renuka Swamy who is a 33-year-old pharmacist from Chitradurga, made derogatory comments about Gowda. This led Gowda to seek help from her alleged lover, Darshan Thoogudeepa who allegedly orchestrated the murder.

Darshan reportedly had his associates capture Renuka Swamy and murder him in his garage using various weapons. They then disposed of the body in a storm drain. Both actors are currently in police custody as the investigation into the murder charges continues.
