Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa’s son, Vinish, has taken to Instagram to stand up against the trolls targeting his family following his father’s recent arrest. Darshan and his alleged partner, Pavithra Gowda, were taken into custody on June 11 in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case.

In his heartfelt post, the 15-year-old Vinish addressed the negative comments and offensive language directed at his father, expressing how hurtful the situation has been for his family. “Thank you all for the bad comments and offensive language towards my father without considering that I am a 15-year-old with feelings. Even during this hard time when my mom and dad needed support, cursing at me won’t change anything,” he wrote.

Vinish also highlighted that the trolls failed to take into account his young age and the emotional toll the situation has taken on him. Meanwhile, reports from the Times of India indicate that Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, unfollowed him on social media before deactivating her Instagram account.

Darshan Thoogudeepa’s case details
Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda were arrested by the Bengaluru police on charges related to the murder of 33-year-old pharmacist Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga. Allegedly, Swamy had made derogatory comments about Gowda, which prompted her to seek revenge. Darshan is accused of orchestrating the murder using his henchmen.

Reports suggest that Swamy was murdered inside a garage with multiple weapons, and his body was later disposed of in a storm drainage.
The investigation is ongoing, and both Darshan and Gowda remain in police custody. According to India Today, three individuals have confessed to the crime, claiming they acted on Darshan’s instructions.
