Aamir Khan, also known as Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist has kept his personal life-guarded. The actor has been lucky second time marrying Kiran Rao after his divorce with Reena Dutta. “I met her when I was doing Lagaan, she was one of the ADs of that film. But at that time we were not in a relationship, we were not even great friends. She was one of the people on the unit. After my separation and divorce, after some time I met her again,” says Aamir.
“Then we began dating, we began seeing each other. We lived together for a year or year and a half before we got married. I can never imagine my life without Kiran as my partner. I feel very blessed and I feel very grateful for it, ” he adds.
Meanwhile, the 53-year-old star admitted that his heart-breaks when his films don’t work and he cries. “I want to go with my conviction while making a film and if there is a loss, I will mourn that also. I cry when my films don’t work,” he said.
Career-wise, Aamir will next be seen in Thugs of Hindostan. The film being produced by Yash Raj Films has an ensemble cast. It stars Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif and is based on the 1839 novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’.
