Allari Naresh’s latest film, “Aa Okkati Adakku,” has made its sudden digital debut on the popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Malli Ankam and produced by Rajeev Chilaka, the movie features Allari Naresh in the lead role alongside Faria Abdullah as the female lead. Supporting roles are played by Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha and others.
Despite hitting theaters on May 3, the film didn’t manage to rake in huge collections. However it has swiftly made its way to the OTT platform within a month of its theatrical release. Now viewers who missed out on watching it in cinemas have the option to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes especially with the weekend upon us.
For Allari Naresh, “Aa Okkati Adakku” marks a return to his comedy roots after several years of appearing in action and star hero films. The actor has been eagerly awaiting a breakthrough and while he had high hopes for this film, its performance at the box office was less than stellar.
Looking ahead, Allari Naresh fans can anticipate his upcoming project Bachchala Malli which promises to be an emotional journey set in the 1990s. Produced by Rajesh Danda and Balaji Gutta under the banner of Comedy Movies, the film is helmed by director Subbu Mangadevi known for his work in “Solo Brathuke So Better.”
