Nandamuri Ramakrishna, NTR’s son, thanked CM KCR as the Telangana government recently announced that it will include a chapter on the legendary actor and former Chief Minister, the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in the tenth standard syllabus. He said Telugu people all over the world are overjoyed by this decision. KCR had worked with NTR and has been his ardent admirer, he even named his son after the late actor’s name.
NTR has four decades of film legacy in Tollywood, apart from the important role he played in the politics of a combined Andhra Pradesh. Welcoming the decision, NBK, another son of NTR wrote on his social media, “NTR has brought the prominence to art and artists in Telugu states. He is truly the saviour of Telugu self-respect and he made it a national issue back in those days. From his film career to political career the man has taken many brave steps in his life and it is an inspiration to many even today.” (sic)
