In a Shocking incident over 600 Indian students have been detained in the US for violation of immigration rules. According to reports, a fake university in Farmington was set up to lure the foreign students who fell for its trap and eight Telugu student were arrested for helping their fellow counterparts to say illegally in the US. The detained identified are Bharath Kakireddy, Aswanth Nune, Suresh Reddy Kandala, Phanideep Karnat, Prem Kumar Rampeesa, Santosh Reddy Sama, Avinash Thakkallapally and Naveen Prathipati.
Telugu students get arrested in US over immigration violation
The crackdown was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security who said that scores of foreign students were staying in fraudulent ways. The officials ruled that those who have enrolled were aware that the university was fake and sill chose to reside flouting rules.
