Fondly called by fans as Young Tiger, he was just 19-year-old when he starred in the blockbuster hit Simhadri. Tarak’s ability to get into the skin of the character, from action scenes to mouthing dialogues to his dance steps, it was a complete treat for his fans.
Starring Bhumika Chawla as the female lead, the couple’s onscreen chemistry added freshness which was also liked by the audience. Simhadri was Rajamouli’s second directorial post Student No 1. After two years he came up with Simhadri, the film with arresting performances coupled with action and music went on to set box-office registers ringing. It went on to become one of the most memorable films for Jr NTR as it helped him to attain stardom.
